Rumour has it that someone (ex Falcons) is about to reopen the place. Anyone heard anything?

I think the last set of BPA minutes noted that Skydive Brid and StrathAllan would both be listed as not currently operating in the Mag so i doubt its reopening anytime soon

It's St Andrews, not Strath, that's currently not operating (as well as Brid)

Update...
I spoke to the owner of East Leys Farm (the dz landlord) on Wednesday. He said that someone was taking over but that they had to "get permission from the BPA first". (By that I assume he meant STC).
The hangar has now gone. It had to be taken down because the heat from the fire had warped & twisted the steel frame to such an extent it was dangerous. I forgot to ask about the club buildings so don't know if they had to be demolished too. I think the clubhouse should be ok though as it only shared the dividing wall with the hangar. (I helped to design & build the clubhouse & remember that it was deliberately not attached directly to the hangar, basically to stop the clubhouse falling down when the hangar moved due to wind loading.)
Dont know if anything is planned to replace the old hangar or if the new dz operator is planning to have the worlds biggest creeper pad

Hi Kieran

Any ideas when & who's re-opening it? I really miss the views on the ride to altitude.
