Looking for some help with some moisture inside the film on my newton ringsight.

I can see it has a metal ring that hold the lens in place but can seem to remove it. Anyone know how?

Rather than open it, have you considered using a hairdryer?

Used to work a treat on one of my bigger lenses.

Is only a temporary solution as moisture can get back in - but it sorted it out for a few weeks at a time!

Also, I trust you're certain it's on the inside?

Hi Jason,

Thanks for that. Moisture is definitely on the inside, can push it around.

I have got it in a box of silica gel at the moment but will try the hair dryer trick now.

Thanks Again
